Die Cut Decals:
Clean the surface before applying the decal. Separate the transfer tape from the backing, making sure all letters stick to it, and apply it firmly onto the clean surface. Run your finger across the transfer tape, until the decal sticks to the surface. Slowly remove the transfer tape. If the letters don’t adhere to the surface yet, give the peeling off another few minutes.
Vehicle Wrap Number Plates:
You will need a heat gun or hair dryer and clean fingers. Oh, and some patience ☺
Rear plate: Peel off the backing paper and try to position as centered as you can. You can peel the decal off many, many times during the process. If it stretches in the process, just heat it up (while not stretching) and it will shrink back to the original size. Once it's centered, press down and heat it with one hand IF NEEDED, and use the fingers of the other hand to rub it down. Go to one side from the center, then to the other side. When you heat the vinyl, the air will expand and show any trapped air beneath the surface. Do NOT worry! This is a premium wrapping vinyl and the air bubbles will come out thru the vinyl itself, just press down with your thumb over the bubble! If it folds, pull off, heat, then try again. Like mentioned, you can do it many, many, many times. You might be lucky and won't have to peel it off at all. Still, remember to heat it even if it's perfect the first time, so the air can expand and you can press the air out with your fingers so it can 'stick' correctly. Vinyl wrap has "delayed" stickiness. So, once it's all nice and flat, no wrinkles or air bubbles, heat the whole plate again, and just go with your hand over it, so the vinyl can "memorize"' the new shape and the glue can activate.
For the front plate, peel off the backing paper and again, position as centered as you can, so the fangs (on some plates) or corners are evenly spaced from the middle. Press down in the middle and work towards one side, then the other. Do the fangs in the end. Remember when you heat the vinyl, you can stretch it. If you want it to shrink back, just heat it without stretching it. Wait for it to cool down if you don't want it to stretch again.
